COFFEY/DFID: Designing a Business Case (BC) for a Multi-Year programme to address the management of refugees and migrants in Tanzania (2016-

We have been appointed to design a full business case to address the ongoing humanitarian response to new influxes and develop more sustainable approaches to the management of refugees and migrants in Tanzania. DFID Tanzania plans to shift to multi-year funding to enable agencies to respond both to the current influx of refugees and to develop sustainable and durable solutions for Burundian and Congolese refugees and asylum seekers, migrants and newly naturalized Tanzanians in Western Tanzania. The expected impact of the Multi Year programme is to contribute to the stabilization and/or improvement of lives of people affected by the conflict in the Great Lake region and enable Tanzania to benefit from the presence of refugee and migrant populations.
