Mona is a senior consultant working with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team within IPE. Mona has over 6 years working experience in undertaking project-based monitoring and evaluations across various sectors including education, nutrition and agribusiness for both the non-governmental, private and public sectors. Prior to joining IPE, Mona worked as a consultant with Oxford Policy Management under the Nutrition portfolio, as well as, a Monitoring and Evaluation officer for the Government of Ghana under the Ghana Export Development and Agriculture Fund. Her research experience runs across experimental and quasi-experimental methods including implementing randomised control trials for World Bank and USAID funded projects. She has a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods having employed both extensively in her line of work and academic training. She has a keen interest in employing rigorous data analysis tools (experience in R, STATA, SPSS and NViVo) in understanding and furthering solutions to complex social problems. Mona has an MPhil in Social Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Development Economics and Policy from the University of Manchester and a BA in Economics from KNUST, Ghana.
