“It’s the best of both worlds - a small company but with a global footprint…”

I joined Triple Line in 2017 as a principal associate in the IGR team, where I work mainly on PSD projects in the agricultural, innovation and job creation space. I’m a bit of an outlier in that I’m based in Berlin (after moving from South Africa to pursue a second masters degree in 2014), but in non COVID-19 times can normally be found working out of our London or Nairobi offices or out in the field.

Having come across Triple Line in my previous job, when I finished my ‘study sabbatical’ I was keen to explore opportunities to work together again with a company that was growing rapidly and expanding into new and exciting areas. Triple Line is really the best of all worlds when it comes to development consulting: it’s a small company but with a global footprint, we work on both the implementation of large donor programmes as well as smaller strategic and research assignments, and the teams are a great mix of young professionals with new ideas and consultants with decades of experience and unparalleled expertise.

Over the past few years I’ve worked on assignments all over East and Southern Africa, from designing an innovation facility for FCDO’s first urban market development programme in Dar es Salaam, to mapping the transformational change of agribusiness investments in rural Mozambique and overseeing the monitoring, evaluation and learning of the Mastercard Foundation’s only challenge fund out of Nairobi.
