Tony is an infrastructure investment, public private partnership and climate finance expert with over thirty years’ experience in international sustainable development, project finance and project development. He supports projects for Triple Line’s cities and infrastructure portfolio and leads it’s activities in PPPs.
Tony is a sustainable finance, infrastructure development, and PPP specialist with over thirty years’ experience in infrastructure investment, project finance, and transaction management. He has led projects and programmes with multiple public, private and multilateral partners including the World Bank, AfDB, EBRD, FCDO, Green Climate Fund and USAID, and over the past 10 years has focused on the energy, transportation, water and climate finance sectors.
Tony was previously with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) where he led PPP advisory assignments in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America in the energy, transportation and water sectors and was Director of the Private Sector Facility at the Green Climate Fund (GCF) based in South Korea where he led its private sector investment programme in renewable energy, e-mobility, food and agriculture, infrastructure and nature-based solutions.He has also worked in infrastructure investment in Europe, the Middle East and North America, and with BlackRock helped to design a development fund for Ukraine.
Tony has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and management from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from Cass Business School in London.
