Overview | Asia's future is now
Asia’s rapid urbanisation and economic growth has led to a massive reduction in poverty – the World Bank estimates that city-led growth has helped lift 655 million people in East Asia out of poverty in the last two decades. Overall, the continent is expected to contribute about 60 per cent of global economic growth by 2030. Nevertheless, its challenges are plenty.
Cities and towns struggle to provide the housing, infrastructure and other services required by their increasingly affluent populations. Countries across the continent need the knowledge and innovative approaches to achieve more inclusive and sustainable growth that addresses rising inequality and environmental degradation.
Triple Line has been working with the public and private sectors in Asia for over 20 years, through its country offices, offering our clients local knowledge and understanding of the many different economies, culture and heritage of Asia.
