Julian is an experienced research consultant. He provides research and analysis support across the monitoring, evaluation, and learning portfolio.
Julian conducts qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to support policy and political economy analyses and evaluations on issues including gender, civil society capacity, education, forest governance and anti-corruption. He works on a range of projects and evaluations, carrying out on-the-ground data collection, analysis and report writing as well as project management.
He has also contributed significantly to the writing of key research outputs including the Cities Alliance Joint Working Group Synthesis Report and the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund Gender Review.
Julian has a background in academic philosophy specialising in political philosophy and social theory. He speaks English and German.
