Esther is a social researcher specialising in monitoring, evaluation and learning in international development. She provides technical expertise in impact evaluation and adaptive MEL across the monitoring, evaluation and learning portfolio. 

Esther is a social researcher specialising in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, with a particular interest in utilisation-focused MEL methods, advocacy and peacebuilding. She previously worked as a MEL practitioner in international NGOs, supporting project and programme level implementation teams with programme design, Theories of Change, Results Frameworks, workshop facilitation, donor reporting, external evaluations, building MEL capacity and setting up organisational MEL processes and systems. Esther has experience in designing, managing, implementing, and disseminating social research projects in the UK and worldwide. Her skills include quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, questionnaire design, participatory methods, and communication of complex findings to programme staff, local partners and donors. 

She has lived and worked in sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. 

Esther holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Cardiff and Masters in Impact Evaluation for International Development from the University of East Anglia.
