Daria is an experienced agricultural economist. She manages projects and provides technical expertise across Triple Line's private sector development portfolio.
Daria has close to 10 years’ experience in the international development sector, of which seven have been in consulting. She is an agricultural economist with specialisation in agricultural market development, private sector development and rural finance. Daria is experienced in monitoring and evaluation, strategy development, project design and policy analysis.
Her experience at Triple Line has included M&E services for the Mastercard Fund for Rural Prosperity, impact evaluation of a tea outgrower programme in Rwanda, and feasibility analysis for a trade and logistics cluster in Burundi, among others.
Prior to joining Triple Line, Daria worked for an impact investment and innovative finance consultancy. She has also worked for over two years as a Case Team Leader/ ODI Fellow in the strategy consulting unit of the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency, based in Addis Ababa, leading teams of Ethiopian analysts on a range of projects to develop and transform the agricultural sector.
Daria holds an MA in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Humboldt University of Berlin, and is fully professionally proficient in Russian, Spanish, German and French.
