Abeba is a Development Economist with over seven years of experience in policy research, job creation, capacity development and private sector development.
Abeba is a Development Economist with over seven years of experience in policy research, job creation, capacity development and private sector development. She has an MA degree in Human and Economic Development in Africa, and a BA degree in Economics. She is currently supporting Triple line’s projects focused on private sector development, energy, survey studies, and climate and environment.
Prior to joining Tripleline, Abeba served as an Intervention Manager at BRIDGES Programme (Master Card Foundation Funded Project) designing and implementing interventions that aim to create job opportunities for the unemployed youth. She also Served as a Policy Research Expert at the Ethiopian Investment Commission. During her role there, she contributed to the development of pre-feasibility study for Assosa, Semera and Aysha industrial parks that was conducted in collaboration with Mckinsey consultancy. She also did a survey study on situational analysis of the Automotive Sector in Ethiopia and took part in the preparation of Road map for the leather sector development in Ethiopia.
