An M&E and market systems development expert with other 15 years experience in the East Africa region
Judy brings a wealth of experience from more than 15 years as a MEL and market systems specialist: leading, designing and evaluating interventions related to economic growth, sustainable agricultural practices, and market systems resilience. Judy has joined Triple Line as the Portfolio Monitoring and Insights Lead on the newly launched MasterCard Foundation Fund for Resilience & Prosperity programme that we are delivering with KPMG as the evidence and learning partner.
Prior to joining Triple Line Judy was the Deputy Chief of Party for the Kenya Crops & Dairy Market Systems activity (under the $71 million USAID-funded Feed the Future programme), which focused on expanding access to agricultural markets, improving nutritional outcomes, and reducing poverty in marginalized communities across Kenya. She was formerly Director of M&E, Collaboration, Learning and Adaptation for the same programme, overseeing MEL, adaptative management and strategic communications. Judy also has significant FCDO experience serving as Knowledge and Results Manager on the £48 million Kenya Market Assistance Program, which focused on delivering large-scale, systemic change in agricultural market systems.
Judy has an MSc in Social Statistics from the University of Nairobi, and speaks fluent English, Swahili, and Luhya with a professional proficiency in Luo.
